Electrocardiogram (ECG)

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

A home electrocardiogram lets the heart’s electrical activity be recorded without the patient having to travel. A specialized nurse visits your home with a portable device, performs a 12-lead recording, and ensures the ECG is forwarded safely to the treating physician or cardiologist for interpretation.

Who It’s For

Ideal for bedbound patients, elderly people with limited mobility, those recovering from surgery, and anyone who prefers the convenience of testing at home. It supports both routine monitoring of known cardiac conditions and one-off recordings ordered by a physician.

What It Includes

  • Preparation & identification: Confirming the patient and the physician’s instructions, along with preparing the skin for electrode placement.
  • Recording: Taking a 12-lead electrocardiogram with a portable device, with the patient at rest.
  • Forwarding & interpretation: Safe transmission of the recording to the treating physician or cardiologist for interpretation and further guidance.

Safety & Procedure

The recording is performed by a certified nurse following all hygiene and safety standards. The test is painless and non-invasive, and interpretation of the electrocardiogram is always done by your physician.
