Data Controller
The data controller for your personal data is Komvos Ygeias, reachable at info@komvosygeias.gr.
What Data We Collect
We only collect data that you voluntarily provide through the contact forms on our website:
- Full name
- Phone number
- email address (career form)
- Description of needs or brief introduction
- CV file (career form)
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on:
- Consent: By submitting a form, you consent to the processing of your data for the described purpose.
- Legitimate interest: To respond to your inquiries and provide our services.
Purpose of Processing
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Contact you regarding your inquiry
- Assess your care needs
- Review your job application (career form)
Display Preferences
If you change the site's display preferences (text size, contrast, motion and so on), your choices are stored locally on your own device, in your browser's localStorage, under the key a11y-prefs-v1. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, they are not cookies, and they are not used for identification or statistics. The "Reset" button inside the panel deletes them, and so does clearing this site's data in your browser.
Third Parties
Form submissions are received and stored by our own form service, operated by the studio that maintains this website, and forwarded to us by email. They are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and are deleted on request. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. A CV attached to the careers form is stored in the same service for up to six months and travels with the notification. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill your request, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last communication, unless otherwise required by law.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Access: Know what data we hold about you
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured format
- Objection: Object to the processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@komvosygeias.gr.
Right to Complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) if you believe that the processing of your data violates GDPR.
