Home collection of samples for microbiological cultures lets specimens be gathered without the patient having to travel. A specialized nurse visits your home, performs the collection with aseptic technique, and ensures the samples are stored and transported correctly to the partner laboratory.

What It Includes

• Preparation & identification: Confirming the requested cultures and any preparation instructions.
• Sample collection: Gathering specimens (urine, wound and others) with sterile single-use materials and aseptic technique.
• Transport & results: Correct handling, storage and safe transport to the laboratory, along with delivery of results in coordination with the treating physician.

Safety & Procedure

The collection is performed by a certified nurse following all hygiene and safety standards to avoid contamination of the sample. Samples are transported under appropriate conditions, and interpretation of results is always done by your physician.
