Background & career
Dimitrios Rarras is a full-stack developer based in Ioannina, holding an Integrated Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia. He designs and builds the websites, e-commerce platforms and operational software that small Greek businesses and healthcare institutions run on, with more than ten systems in production today.
Healthcare software is a particular focus. He is the developer behind the online platform of the Heartbeat pharmacy in Ioannina, and as a volunteer he has built and maintains the clinical operations and inventory systems of the Zosimades Nursing Home of Ioannina, as well as an inventory application for the Molecular Biology Unit of the University General Hospital of Ioannina.
At Komvos Ygeias he owns the technology side: he designed and built komvosygeias.gr and looks after the team's digital presence and tools day to day, so that staying in touch with us is simple and dependable for patients and their families.
